Humility takes you to the next phase of your life,
Pride makes you feel you are there already and have no reason to go further.
When you are not humble, you will be humbled.
To be humble is not the same as 'to be humbled'.
-When you are humble, you don't believe you know, you believe you can learn from anything and anyone, you are meek and lowly, which of course doesn't mean you are low in standard.
-When you are humbled, you are degraded, belittled, reduced, lowered in rank and forced to abase yourself, which in that case would have claimed your dignity, value, reputation and respect.
God enthrones the humble and then makes the proud his subject.
Humility is not thinking less of yourself, it's thinking of yourself less.
Humility is a strength, not a weakness.
