The fool and his foolishness by Tayo Fasuan

The fool says in his heart
That there is really no God
Because he believes he's smart
That he'll survive every odd.
But he has forgotten his past
Of who actually is the Lord
He takes an exception to his start
He withdraws from his very source.
He forgets his rise from the ash
Of He who made him from the mud
He burns the bridge he ought to pass
In the forest of confusion, he got lost.
He forgets the story of Nebuchadnezzar
He engages in endless rubbish talk
Eventually, like him, he will eat grass
And be toppled from his lofty spot.
The fool is really rich in his mind
But in the spirit, he is very poor
He looks learned and brilliant in act
Look deep enough, he's an empty box.
By his actions, he does declare
His heart's contents that's corrupt
Pretending like he's on the Lord's side
While His very words, he really mocks.
The fool is really nothing but an ass
He doesn't think deep and well enough
Please, tell him he is on borrowed time
The Owner of his very Soul is on call.

Don't be a fool because of your brilliance and intelligence.
God and His laws/words are real.
